The model's name is Nikida Rodriguez. She responded to my craigslist ad for models to pose on a small burlesque stage that I'd built in my studio. It was a TF session with compensation in the form of a CD. Nikida dropped out three hours prior to the shoot and I only found out about it after phoning her to confirm. As you can see from her supplied photo, she has limited experience and won't get any from me. Attachments:

Hang Duong also known as Hannah Duong is a makeup artist that had contacted me in regards to the same burlesque shoot as Nikida Rodrigues. My craigslist ad clearly indicated that my shoot was scheduled for Saturday June 16 but after many emails back and forth and many emails from Hannah expressing interest in this project, she abruptly dropped out at 9:00 am the day of the shoot. Her reason? She had already been booked for a wedding.
She may be a splendid makeup artist, I'll never know but I do know that she is not to be trusted. Book at your own risk.

After 34 messages back and forth on Model Mayhem, Shayna, AKA BAYBII DOLL www.modelmayhem.com/2445305 decided that she was not interested in the project. The punchline is that the project was her idea in the first place and that she had contacted me. This is just another joker on MM that thinks she has what it takes. It became quite apparent early on in our discussions that she doesn't. AVOID. Attachments:

After trying to work together for almost a year, Julie Caballero www.modelmayhem.com/2038236backed out 3 hrs. before the shoot stating that the MUA cancelled. I got an email an hr. later from the MUA telling me she was upset that Julie cancelled on her... I called Julie out on it, and she did apologize, but it is still no excuse for not only bailing, but outright lying to get out of a shoot... |

I opted for this forum rather than Facebook because I wanted to keep it local and somewhat exclusive to photographers that undertake in our genre of photography. It would be nice to get a few more people involved though so spread the word.
